Updates to the research ethics application form

The Central University Research Ethics team have recently published an updated version of the online ethics application form.

The updated version of the form involves several significant revisions designed to support colleagues in the construction of high-quality research ethics applications.

Any newly created application forms will automatically be created on the latest version of the form.

For existing applications that were created on the previous version of the form, you will be shown a warning message with an invite to update to the newer version of the form - however, it is important that existing applications do not update to the latest version.

Please take care NOT TO CLICK THE UPDATE BUTTON when it appears on your screen.

Clicking this button will update your form to the new version, and you will lose all data within your existing application. There is no possibility of retrieving data from the previous version of the form once you have clicked to 'Update', and you will then have to complete the new version of the form in full.
